Energy Efficiency Ordinance Presentation

On August 20, 2019 Mayor Anne Watson and the energy efficiency ordinance working group convened a public meeting to provide background information and research related to a potential energy efficiency ordinance requiring public disclosure of energy information at time of listing for residential properties in Montpelier.

Public comments were recorded and Montpelier residents are encouraged to email awatson@montpelier-vt.org with any additional thoughts, questions or concerns. The working group will continue to research and refine a set of recommendations to City Council, and additional public meetings are planned for the fall/winter.
